Apparently they were from Cinderford, which I think is in the Forest of Dean area of Gloucestershire - added bonus point for what EMF was alleged to have stood for anyone?

OK, same era, similar name KLF - know the name behind the letters, but can anyone tell me (a) how much did they burn when the group disbanded, and (b)what did the group members go on to next?
The KLF were superb, didn't the initials stand for Kopyright Liberation Front? I could be worng about that. They filmed themselves burning a million pounds in some croft in Scotland and the last I heard of Bill Drummond and Jimi Cauty they were producing trance music in Germany - mind you that was a couple of years ago
definitely Kopyright Liberation Front. Also known as the JAMMS, Justified Ancients of Mu Mu, The Timelords. Burnt 1m in 50 notes which had been nailed to a bit of wood (which got them into a lot of trouble). Give the same amount in cash to the Turner Prize winner for 'bad art'.
Think the dead sheep at the Brit awards was the best idea the KLF ever had and I seem to remember that they wiped their whole back catalogue - I'm pretty certain and definitely hope star trekkin was nothing to do with them
