What happened to the (members of the) Kozmic Blue Band? They backed Janis Joplin on the album 'I got them ol' Kozmic Blues, Mama', which for me is the best Joplin album of all.

As is usually the case with musicians from that long ago, some wherabouts are sketchy, or even unknown, however - Sam Andrew (guitar) is performing with a new Kozmic Blues Band lineup, Richard Kermode (organ) died in 1996, Gabriel Melker (organ) is a session musician and producer, and has worked on the last five Etta James albums, Brad Campbell (bass) is an actor, Maury Baker (drums) joined Tim Buckley's band, current wherabouts unknown, Cornelius 'Snooky' Flowers (baritone sax) is still active in the Bay Area music scecne - he played with friends and musicians at hippy legend Wavy Gravy's 65th birthday party in May last year, Terry Clements (tenor sax), Lonnie Castille (drums) and Luis Garcia (trumpet) are all 'wherabouts unknown'. If anyone can shed any light on the missing musicians, please let us know.
