Bad taste in mouth

At the moment I seem to be going through a time where at random times, if I belch even without meaning to , it will be followed by an unpleasant 'egg' kind of taste, and it makes me feel rather unwell and interferes with my life quite frequently, and the strange thing is, I don't even eat eggs. If anyone knows a solution to my problem or why this is happening, I would appreciate the help greatly.
