I'm so pleased someone else has said this. I thought it was just me.

I love opera, and there's no doubt she has a wonderful voice and is very talented, but I simply can't listen to her. Somehow it just grates - and irritates. Arrgh!

Oh don't even get me started on Garrett!! I don't think KJ's voice is much purer to be honest, less fussy but not pure! I can't bear to listen to either of them, a complete waste of space that could be occupied by far better singers!!! Just been looking for a christmas song for my sister to sing and came across her and just had to get someone else's opinion!!!

I have been aware of Katherine Jenkins since her rise to (in my opinion) undeserved fame and have always thought her to be rather underwhelming. I simply came across her on youtube while looking for a classical Christmas song for my sister to sing and was once again filled with disappointment that a singer such as she, should have so much recognition in the world of classical music. I find her to be of fair technical ability but am very unsure of her vocal qualities compared with other singers both amateur and those with celebrity status.
