Yep dear old Mr Blobby. Who could forget. As a childrens entertainer, I have had to dress up as Mr B a number of times. I dressed as him once in a restaurant at a childrens party, walked up the stairs to the party room and most of the little perishers burst out crying and screamer "Take him away" (poor Blobby.

This brings back memories. My sister is a late birth - thirteen years younger than me in fact - and I think that she was about six when Mr Blobby's song hit the charts. I bought her the cd single and taught her the "Blobby dance" and we used to prance about to this. She recently handed me a rather dated and battered looking cd for my kids to listen to - yes the blobby song ! We've had great fun teaching my kids this silly dance. Sad or what ? Ahh , memories !
