i have a 2 seater MERCEDES SLK CONVERTABLE,thing is iv had it 3 & 1/2 yrs and don't fancy getting rid.but its only a 2 seater,so when i met my partner and her family,if i wanted to go out for the day it was hard because i only had 2 seats.so my partner & me dicided that we would buy a NEW nissan quash qi.
so back to the question in hand....
the merc has been parked outside for over 6 months,started it up the other day with JUMP LEADS.but when i rev'd it it would'nt rev over 4,000 revs or it cough'd & splutter'd.
so put new fuel in the tank,& took it for a drive,it was OK,but when i was on stop & tried to rev it it still splutter'd.
can someone tell me "WHATS THE PROBLEM"
