The Dooleys - Don't Take It Lying Down.

 

After their first 2 hits in the latter half of 1977, their 3rd single was due for release in Feb 78.  The single was delayed until May and only reached No60 in the UK chart.

 

Had this record been released when intended, I am sure that it would have been a Top20 hit.

 

I understand that their record label GTO were having financial problems which may account for the delay and lack of publicity.

Ain't Nothin' Like The Real Thing by Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell. I think it's an awesome single and didn't even make the top 30 (34 in 1968) PS I think the perfect pop song is All My Loving by The Beatles and it was never a single ! ! !
