who are reco?

My brother-in-law wants a CD for christmas by a band called Reco.  I've never heard of them.  I believe they are british, but cant find anything on play.com or cd-wow.

Is your brother-in-law into ska? Then he could mean Rico - as in Rico Rodriguez.

 

Not a band, as such, but a Jamaican musician who's been playing bluebeat and ska since the 60's. Released 'Carolina' back in the 60's too - I think someone covered that not too long ago.

Emigrated to the UK. He's played with various bands, sometimes spelt as 'Reco' (Reco & his Blues Band, Reco & the Creators) and guested on other artists' recordings ( including The Members, and quite a few Specials tracks)

Probably not who your b-in-law means at all, but there you go !!

Do you mean ... Rico, latest CD release : Violent Silences  ?? (Heavy industrial dance)

 I know of Rico only because of his work with Gary Numan over the last few years!
