Sympathy for Devil?
Whilst some wags are referring to her as the new Anita Bryant, this is a woman has been through what must've been a pretty traumatic time. Should the press lay off and give her a degree of sympathy?
Or does she deserve the criticism she's been getting because of her condemnation of homosexuality due to her religious beliefs (whilst at the same time, breaking the seventh commandment)?
(FYI, according to her interpretation of the scripture, homosexuality is worse than child rape).
Personally, I think we should take the moral high ground and not put the boot in, but amongst my mates, I'm in a minority.

Hypocrite, or a human with failings like all of us?

I think strangely that this will be good for the peace process in Northern Ireland with both Gerry Robinson and Peter Robinson now maybe getting a little off their high horses.
Conceivably both of them may have worked out that many people are a bit less perfect than they would have us believe.
I do pity the poor women who will never know peace because of her previous strong views.

It won't load on my lappy for some reason.
But if what others here have said is right then yes God will forgive her and if he's what matters to her why should she worry what the rest of the world thinks.
But saying ' God forgives me' does not mean the rest of the human race will. It doesn't work that way.
Every one is human and that makes us all weak to the temptations of life. it also makes us very unforgiving.
but seeing as I don't even know who she is and seeing as I to have made mistakes myself I can't pass judgment on her.
Also being forgiven by God still doesn't make what ever she did right and doesn't mean it's ok for her to go out and do it again. Perhaps she should be seeking her husbands forgiveness as well as God's. after all it seems like it's him she's hurt the most.

Yes, I'd go along with you on that. Until such time as she starts condemning others again. At which time we should remind her that only those without sin are aloud to cast the first stone, or perhaps just tell her to shut up.
