Need help finding song title or artist for an unknown UK band

I heard this on an online music blog streaming site, I wrote the name down originally but lost the paper before committing it to memory. I do recall originally looking up the band and remember they were from the UK or Ireland (Republic) at least. Probably a lesser known band. I've tried searching for lyrics and no luck and tried searching releases, anyway, the lyrics I do recall are the chorus which says


To love you, is the worst thing that I can do, is the worst thing
and I am hanging on a wire
oh yes, I do regret, so now I must forget


I know that's not much but I've been racking my brain to find it, figure I'd give it a chance.
