Just seen Phil Collin's one night only on ITV!!
Wow, what a star he is ehhh folks!!
He really is one of many firm favourite singers of mine.He will not be forgotten!!
Tonight I heard his song Going Back for the very first time, and I absolutely loved it.
I'll be getting this album very soon.
I have many vinyl album records of his classic band Genesis.
So,who's a Genesis and Phil Collins fan like me then?
Plus, have you got any favourite songs of his group, and from Phil himself?
At the moment I'm absolutely fond of Going Back, and that is one of my choices......
Well Butch, since you commented first on my post, how could you say 'dull' when you like the song In the Air Tonight which is performed by Phil Collins?
Hmmm,no matter. The song is pretty good though isn't it?
Yes, you're right askyourgran. The song Groovy kind of Love was in the film Buster.
Here is the against all odds song video for Count-A-Strong.....
Phil Collins is one of the greatest rock drummers who has ever existed. There was a period of about 18 months in the mid 70s when he was unsurpassed.
Genesis were a huge part of my childhood, and I saw them live many times.
His greatest drumming with Genesis is, IMO, on the 1972 Foxtrot and 1973 Selling England by the Pound albums. I'm guessing that people who like We Can't Dance won't have those.
However, his greatest single drumming moment in record is Hate Zone by Brand X on the Moroccan Roll album.
Cheers for your kind words peeps.....now then...I'm not going to embed this particular song because I want to see if anyone remembers this song of the past, and to see who's got the same album like I have.....]
and here it is....
