Just seen Phil Collin's one night only on ITV!!
Wow, what a star he is ehhh folks!!
He really is one of many firm favourite singers of mine.He will not be forgotten!!
Tonight I heard his song Going Back for the very first time, and I absolutely loved it.
I'll be getting this album very soon.
I have many vinyl album records of his classic band Genesis.
So,who's a Genesis and Phil Collins fan like me then?

Plus, have you got any favourite songs of his group, and from Phil himself?
At the moment I'm absolutely fond of Going Back, and that is one of my choices......

Phil Collins is one of the greatest rock drummers who has ever existed. There was a period of about 18 months in the mid 70s when he was unsurpassed.

Genesis were a huge part of my childhood, and I saw them live many times.

His greatest drumming with Genesis is, IMO, on the 1972 Foxtrot and 1973 Selling England by the Pound albums. I'm guessing that people...

I know it very well. The Mellotron choir at the end is wonderful!
Mark..!!!!
Damn. Just realised I meant One more night too. Played it in my mates car on the last night of my holiday. Sob.
I know sod-all about Mick Jagger so whether that song is his or not I couldn't care less.

imhotep asked for favourite Genesis or Phil Collins tracks and I posted one of mine. I'm not going to argue about the finer points of who wrote it and whether they did so alone or just sang something written by another person.
Rolls eyes in disbelief...

It was written by Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford out of jam sessions at Fisher Lane Farm in Chiddingfold. The self-titled album was the first album that was written entirely in this way...

It certainly is!

I love The Pogues, and have seen them live many times. The remaster of "Rum, Sodomy and the Lash" remains one of my favourite albums...
