A few years ago I heard a country song that the guy was singing about individual playing cards. ( eg. ace of spades & the queen of hearts & the jack of clubs) I know its not much but thats all I know. If anyone could help or have any suggestions I would appreciate it greatly!

Thank You.

There is a popular song called 'Deck Of Cards' which fits your description - the only version I know is by max Bygraves (!) but with its popularity, there is probably a country version. Hope this points you in the right direction.
try Wink Martindale as artist/writer of said tune.
Number One Honest Game by John Hiatt?

andy hughes and Kick3m0n are both talking about the same song. Wink was first and Max re-released it.

If you haven't heard the Country version I suggest you get a copy as it's a totally different style (of course!). Think Max's gets to the point of the story better by far though.

Hugh O'Brian who played Wyatt Earp in the original TV series of the same name back in the 1960s, did a live version on Sunday Night at the London Palladium at the height of the TV programme's popularity. I doubt if he recorded it though.
