Which is best?

To stand at a concert or to get seats? Never been to one in my life and going to see Bon Jovi next year. Don't know what to do for best. If go for standing am worried I'll be right at back as will not be able to get there ridiculously early for a good place. What do others think?

I prefer seats. I usually stand but it's nice to have the option.

From my experience, the more exuberant the band the more likely everyone will stand up anyway (even in the seated areas).
Be prepared to have to stand if you want to see anything.

I prefer to get seats, you can always stand up, but it's nice to sit down now and then if its a long concert.

I would prefer to stand outside for Bon Jovi but I do go to a lot of concerts such as Bryan Adams and I always get seats and end up standing anyway

most "rock" acts like Bon Jovi prefer their audience to stand anyway otherwise the atmosphere sucks ...

Depends what venue its at, being vertically challenged I'd rather be in tiered seating, that way when everyone stands up anyway at least you have some chance of still being able to see!

I prefer to watch the gig online: I can sit in my favourite chair in just my undies and don't have to forward plan my poohs ;-p
