The best song ever recorded is "and I love her". It is also the sweetest beautifulest song ever recorded.
"What do you think of Percy's rough? I think he looks like a bird who's swallowed a plate my Lord. No that's what I think! What do you think? Try to have a thought of your own, Baldrick, thinking is so important. What do you think? I think thinking is so important my Lord. I give up! I'm off to see the queen. Oh shall I come too my Lord? No, best not, people might think we're friends. You stay here with Baldrick. Bird neck and bird brain should get on like a house on fire!"

>...the more that people see and read about the Beatles and their underlying message about peace
I am fan of the Beatles, I grew up in the sixites, but the Beatles were not about "peace and love".
Near the end of the Beatles period together (1969/70) there was little "peace and love" amongst the band members (watch the film "Let it be").
Paul and John hated each other near the end (1970) and took the opportunity to write songs on their solo albums that critisized the other ("How do you sleep" for example by John about Paul).
So yes they wrote some great songs, some great great songs, but unless you have heard every song ever written you cant say "and I love her" is the best.
I think "Here there and Everywhere" (mainly by Paul) ranks up there with "and I love her"
Also "In my Life" (mainly by John)

Theres no such thing as the best song in the world, because music is entirely subjective.
You get 30 people in a room 28 will name 28 different songs and two will say pop music is rubbish and they prefer a classical piece.
I love the Beatles but if you ask me my favorite song today I would give one answer and tomorrow another.
But as your asking :-) I think "For know one" is the best Beatles love song
