If you are going to judge that way, the why not make Boney M more important than Jeff Buckley - more people like them after all, and they have sold more records!
I think the S & D song is great, touching, self-depricating, with a good melody. in some cases, that's really all that's required.

For the record (!) I possess one jeff Buckley album, two Sam & Dave tracks, but four by Boney M, and as I have stated on here previously, I regard 'Saturday Night' by Whigfield as one of the greatest pop records ever made!
