The long walk

just reading the above book, got to the part where they see the yeti,s and i think it must all be made up.. he says they could'nt make out any features on the face but was near enough to say the hair was brown and silver. one sentence say they were around 8ft tall another says 7 ft then they said they spent 2 hrs watching them..cant believe they spent up to 12 days in the gobi desert without any water or food surely this would be impossible..all a bit to far fetched.. but a good read.. any one else reading a good book at the moment?

I'm reading Birds Without Wings which is the prequel to Captain Corelli's Mandolin. It's all about the effects of war & religion on friendships and families. Beautifully written.

I love The Long Walk. I've had it for years and re-read it many times. Don't much care whether it's made up or not, it's still quite gripping.

Hi sammmo - I have recently purchased The Long Walk from Amazon. I read it at school and was so enthralled by it that my father read it too. He thoroughly enjoyed it too . An excellent read.
