It's Time Nigel Farage Quit Ukip..
i.m.o.
All he does is snipe from the sidelines and it's got worse lately.
He loved it when UKIP were failing and people were begging him to come back and lead them.
Now they are on the rise again, with a better leader (imo) Gerard Batten, his ego can't stand it.

As for UKIP and its current leader Farage has gone mainstream stupid. Batten is right and Farage, like all politicians and many right thinking people such as julia Hartley-Brewer, is wrong about Islam. Normal people, understandably, but totally uninformed think Islam is a religion in the same sense as we understand religion: be nice to people, don't steal, rob, murder or rape. Vicar of Dibley, cuddly imam - no difference. But Islam is not a religion in our sense, it's firstly a political movement with the agenda of all political movements - the attainment of power. And under certain circumstances it will sanction many of the things which we excoriate, sexual slavery being one of the most egregious example .
Unfortunately the Robinson connection tarnishes Batten. And therefore UKIP.
As it happens Robinson and Batten are right about Islam and Farage and just about everybody else is wrong. And there's obviously nothing which will convince most people otherwise.

I think cassa’s views would be typical of many decent people who switched to UKIP because of strong feelings about the EU (which I don’t share but understand).
But they look at the way UKIP is now going and don’t like it. The more UKIP attaches itself to the Batten world view the further it will drift from the political mainstream, even tho of course it will please some.
