Not Keir Starmer.
It looks like Boris is trying to worm his way back in with his trip to COP27. Just the beginning of a campaign to undermine Rishy.
Gully, who do you think will lead Labour after they lose the next election?
Boris seems to be doing his best to ensure that Labour don't lose the next election.
bhg481, //It looks like Boris is trying to worm his way back in //

How so? Only a week or so ago he decided to step out of the competition. Are you expecting another leadership election anytime soon?
No, not soon. Just when Boris has undermined party unity.
This is News?
bhg, The people who stabbed him in the back have undermined party unity - and now as far as I can tell, when world leaders are expected to gather at the forthcoming meeting, there will be no such representation from this country - and that undermines us not just here but on the world stage too. A big mistake in my opinion.
Alok Sharma will be there.
Boris (I can but dream).
Not good enough, bhg. We should have sent someone everyone's heard of.
You mean like the chairman of COP26?
I know who he is.
Naomi... Allock sharma chaired it very well last year I recall so is well known at these
Alok is a member of the Boris Fan Club, so I wonder if he put him up to it.
Indeed, bob, but could you pick him out in a crowd? I couldn't. So much for those pictures that are going to be beamed around the world. Where's the UK? Errr .. dunno.
BBC sez Sharma has criticised Rishi for not going - nice bit of unity to kick off with (not)!
// someone everyone's heard of//
Like 'Rashid Sanook'? As Biden said
Haaa! Poor old Joe. He tries. :o)
Why are the actions of some MPs called backstabbing? Perhaps they had had enough of Boris duplicity and lies and just wanted to look at themselves in the mirror and not feel ashamed.
