actually stokeace burhanuddin rabbani was the recognized president of afghanistan at the time of massoud's murder. karzai wasn't installed by the u.s. until dec.22, 2001 as an interm leader and chairman of the so called transitional authority, then being elected as president dec.7,2004 if you can call it an election. i've never read anything tying karzai to the assasination of massoud, but if you could provide something i'd be interested in reading it.

Before 911 this was a battle between the USA and Bin Laden (Al Qieda). Since then other countries have got involved, the more the involvement the greater the retaliation, so the bombs in London and Madrid. Thanks to Tony Blair our country will be under constant threat. Our involvement along with others has only muddied the waters and created panic to all civilised nations.
