Where is our aid ?

Why is it that when there is a crisis in the world the Brits get things together and send loads of aid . So where is the aid when we need it with the floods ,why are the EU not helping out ? When France had high winds we sent engineers to help get the power back on . Are we a nation of softies , help others but no help when we need it ??

The point has been reached where blaming 'governments' has no weight. This is rain, this is nature, this is God. All have been flaunted and are now showing us how tiny we are.

I am thoroughly p155ed off with the state of our country of present. Okay, we are a rich country and most of us have plenty of water and food and a roof over our heads. But the state of the NHS is appaling, the immigrant levels are increasing to crisis levels, people are constantly trying to blow us all up with seemingly NO consequences to their actions, our flood defences are knackered resulting in thousands of people without running water or food with seemingly little help, house prices are rising so high that most first time buyers cant afford to buy, infflation has risen so much that people cant afford to live properly. Is this the price we pay for being british and paying our god damn taxes all our lives!!!

I was simply trying to inform you that this was all seen a long time ago .
I have lost 3 members of my family in Afghanistan .
And think I'm entitled to have a bit of a gripe from time to time .

i read there are 35,000 foreign doctors.

but every year we hear of nurses and doctors who have qualified and can't get jobs because they are are filled. They then have to go abroad to work. Its crazy!!!!!

there is a defecit of trained doctors and nurses.
also many nurses and doctors are reaching retirement age and need replaced.
not enough folk want to go thru training as a doctor or nurse.
its very hard work for not a great deal of money.

we are a lazy nation i think.
