Having been away for a couple of days I am sad to come back and see what has gone on on this site over the weekend. What a shame that the weather is so rubbish you children can't go out and play outside so instead you have to post mindless drivel on this website. I find sammy_85, i rule the world, and zacky_boy hugely offensive in their postings about genitals and racism. It is possible to ignore them but i wondered (see there is a question in here somehwere) whether AB-Ed can remove the questions or at least the intros on the page? These posting are ill-informed nonsense and if a stance isn't taken against them, i, like some other regular users will be going elsewhere.

I agree completely. I joined AB about 2 momnths ago and the site has been going steadily downhill over the last 3-4 weeks. Can the Ed please do something about the rubbish that is now being posted on this site.

Point taken rja211077 but if all/most regulars can object to these questions on the actual site, it should give more weight to the stamping out of the problem and hopefully discourage othes from posting similiar "questions". One e-mail from one member can be dismissed as one over-sensitive member.

Hi becks, if you check out the new 'Suggestions' section, you will see that the invasion of the site by unsuitable questions has been noticed, and hopefully addressed by the Editor. One particular offender has had his / her responses deleted from all sections, and hopefully a stricter degre of editorial control will prevent this trend from continuing, and preventing proper interaction of the level intended by the owners and users. in the mean time, if we can all hang on and deny these people the attention and outrage that they crave, their attention span will prove sufficiently short that they will drift away and infect other areas of the Web.

I am a new person on the site (about 2 weeks) and thought I had found a really good site with a really good ethos and intelligent contributors. Sadly, if things go on as they have this weekend and as I find has happened this morning, I will using it. Such a shame, I was beginning to find some good AB mates.

as someone who has been around for a while, can I point out that this kind of unpleasant childish overrun happens from time to time and when it is ignored, the nuisance goes away and this site resumes the noiseless tenor of its ways (Shakespeare I think)

Yes, hang in there becks. I have been coming here for well over two years and for the first time found myself compelled to inform the Ed about some of the offensive nonsense in this category. I am glad to say that it was promptly removed. Good on yer Ed.
