Is this is the downside of Immigration, that the politicians won't admit to, in their continuing quest to turn us into a Multi-Ethnic society?

There were 59 firearms-related homicides in 2006-07 compared with 49 in the previous year.

This compares to over 2500 car accident fatalities (the lowest figure since records began!)

Do immigrants bring guns with them when they come to this country? Are guns manufactured by black owned and operated companies? Why has Scotland got such a high knife crime problem despite the lack of immigrations there?

If I pointed you to a link to an article which showed that people were living longer and healthier lifestyles now, would you put this down to a positive side of immigration (ie the immigrant nurses and doctors in most of our hospitals).

On balance (very heavily) immigration is a massively beneficial thing.

The elderly who haven't bothered to put any money into a private pension can be assured that hard working immigrants are contributing to their pensions (which they then spend on fags, bingo and cat food).

They also provide massive support to the NHS - especially for the aforesaid elderly who are living longer and getting clumsier.

Finally, they support the British ecomony - I'm served by immigrant shop assistants, driven around by immigrant public transport workers, made fit by immigrant personal trainers, checked up by immigrant doctors, advised by immigrant IT specialists etc.

The biggest drain on our society at the moment are the elderly - those who are retiring now are the gits who spent the entire 70s striking and ruining the British economy. If it weren't for immigrants coming in, we'd still be paying back the IMF.

Not all those shot by a gun die. Those threatened by someone with a firearm are not physically harmed. And not all offences are reported either.

A rather silly comparison to car stats dont you think. Armed cops will be out there for gun crime not being rear ended.

You stated that shootings are more common that I think. Well, not many of those shootings end up in a death and you are over 40 times more likely to die in a car than by a gun - so in my opinion, shootings are not as common as YOU think!
