The stock answer seems to involve giving money to charity, or helping others.
In reality, when people receive big sums of money ... all of a sudden ...
... that doesn't happen !!
Odd that.
£10m lottery winners never say ... "I'm happy with £5m, so I'll give half to charity"
IT DOESN'T HAPPEN !
City bankers who get £2m bonuses don't take the opportunity to help the needy.
IT DOESN'T HAPPEN !
I send monthly payments to five charities and, if I have a good night at the Casino, I let them have it.
But if I won £10m on the Lottery (unlikely, as I never buy a ticket), the only people who got a decent share of it would be my close friends.
Why do we have to pretend that we would give so much to charity?
If we are so concerned about charities, here's a tip guys ...
STOP BUYING LOTTERY TICKETS, AND GIVE THE MONEY TO CHARITY INSTEAD!
Duuhh !!!
