it's probably been asked on here, but I may have missed it.

Isn't he the Middle East Peace Envoy or some such?

What's he doing/saying about israel?Gaza and Iraq?

From my viewpoint, the silence is deafening.

Funny how the Lefties voted for this man three times yet now he has gone from British politics he's a pariah...Did they not spot he was a self-serving, vacuous, American-led, machine who had absolutely no commitment to the values that the Left espoused.
Powerless but now extremely rich. That's no crime, of course, so long as you're doing a good job for your pay...Ghastly, odious user now loathed by the people who supported him for so long.
Yes. Waste of space.
Well I'd still sooner have Blair than Cameron.
An envoy has the power to represent his government fully (plenipotentiary). Unfortunately MrB's present government happens to be the opposition. Both of them.
God, I wouldn't. The man's two-faced, IMO - only in it for himself.
And the people who supported him, and his Party, for so long should be contrite. Try to read his dreadful autobiog (inevitably entitled "Journey") -though wouldn't even wish it on my worst enemy.
And isn't Cameron Boxy?
You can only judge a politician on his record. Comparison with others is meaningless. It depends on so many variables that it's like saying Elton John is better than Joni Mitchell. It is a subjective, and ultimately, nonsensical, comparison.
And when are we going to see some published accounts for his foundation, as required by law. Seems he's about six years late so far.

I forgot about his foundation, Scooping, am glad you haven't.

I think he's a numpty of the first order, quite frankly.
I have no love for Tony Blair, he seems to be doing nothing as usual.
@albaqwerty

//What's he doing/saying about israel?Gaza and Iraq? //

Whatever he does or says, why should the Israelis give a stuff about him?

The Iraqis? Do they remember him as a leader who rescued them from Saddam's tyranny or as a leader who sent troops and tanks and planes and killed a bunch of their relatives? They have even less reason to pay attention.

Question Author
My apologies if my question came across as the Israelis etc should listen to him, that wasn't my intent.

I'm curious as to why someone who was spouted as being a Peace Envoy (excuse me whilst I choke) has nothing to say in the media.
Not that anyone would really listen anyway.

I have more time for Cameron - I'm not aware that he's two-faced. I never trusted Blair one inch.
too busy hobnobbing with the hoi polloi
Just awaiting the Chillcott Report on the Iraq invasion, when it's finally published. It will have been a long time coming and way behind promised publication date.
Why would a Labour envoy help a Con/LD government?
scooping i always thought he was a snake oil salesman, i never liked him nor respected his Labour credentials, now he is filthy rich, strange that, from what exactly, his wife's dad is or wasn't wealthy - and he was a barrister, so deals within deals as they say
