Any one got a list of all the promises the Conservatives made when they were thinking they could lose the election?
I want to see how many of them they break and how soon.

How long have you got Eddie?

And of course Labour has never made a promise just to win an Election have they?

You came second, live with it!
"The Conservative Party: we may break every promise we made and be downright incompetent, but at least we aren't Labour. "
Here's one they won't break. ;-)

That's it Jim, always look on the bright side!
Svejk, you have it in one.
I just want to know when they are opening the poor houses again
"And of course Labour has never made a promise just to win an Election have they?" (Baldric)
Right-wing supporters constantly say things like, "Why criticise the Tories for broken promises given that Labour has also failed to keep promises before."
They never quite seem to grasp that all they are really saying amounts to, "The parties are equally dodgy about promises...so don't trust the Tories!"

So, Eddie, I hope you keep close tabs on what the new government actually does!
Here's a follow-up for you, Eddie:

The Torygraph lists just ten promises.

The BBC lists over 60! Obviously, there is some duplication between the two lists but the BBC one fills THREE pages of a Word document. Not to worry, I’ve got ‘em all down in black and white and so can you have!
Im not sure what they have promised, but i am sure what i HAVENT promised-to help the pensioners!
I don't want to help the pensioners either, georgiesmum. The old frauds are 'rolling in it'.
Georgiesmum, the pensioners are already getting a pretty good deal compared to most who live on a low income. None of it is pretty, but someone struggling to find work, or even someone with an extra bedroom, who is already receiving less than you in monetary terms, is going to be hit harder than a pensioner.
^ Too right Svejk. Why don't the wrinkly old *** get a *** job?
Jesus, what do you have to do to get past the *** swear filter in this *** place?
Jim, "The Conservative Party: we may break every promise we made and be downright incompetent, but at least we aren't Labour. "

You haven't attributed that. Just out of interest where did it come from?
That's petty Naomi.
Ludwig, pretty stars. :o)))
Frognog, //That's petty Naomi. //

Why is it petty? I'd like to know who said it. That's fair enough.
you have to get 845trad creative Ludvig
