Mine's the toriest tory ever so he'll vote yes, the toss pot
I bet mines a bigger toss pot
Mine's a Labour toss-pot so he'l prbably say yes too
I suppose mine would vote the same way as he would if asked to vote on legislation on, let's call it what it is, mowing people down with a machine gun and blowing up those who survived.

I don't suuport the idea of bombing Syria, by the way. Not because of any scruples such as you seem to have, weecalf, but simply on the basis that it will do nothing to alleviate the threat and will be a waste of time and money.
New Judge - why not say:

My MP is a goody-two-shoes in the Treasury.
Mine voted against bombing Syria in the vote in 2013, but I can't find out how he intends to vote tomorrow.
My Labour MP is voting against the Government, against bombing.
"Not sure the Japanese would agree with you there, PP."

Not quite the same thing at all, db.

As has been widely stated (and, as far as i know, not disputed) the people behind the recent terrorist incidents in Europe are not Syrians or people who live there. They come from places like Brussels and Birmingham. As far as I know during WW2 there were not many Japanese insurgents in Basildon or Bruges and any there might have been were swiftly rounded up and interred rather than being given a council flat and paid benefits. Those people do not care a jot whether Syria is bombed or not because it will make no difference to them.
