It was because there is no space before https. The link can't be recognised as a link if it has something rammed on the start; and won't likely work properly as a link if it has something (such as a full stop) rammed on the end.

When I typed it, the link started on a new line but that changed by the time it got on the screen here. As it does ... as you know.

Maureen is right. Corbyn is an Islington wuss. He belongs to a class of people who live in expensive houses in an expensive area, who have no hesitation in privately educating their children whilst condemning others for doing likewise, and in grabbing much despised honours immediately they’re offered. 'Do as I say not as I do' should be their motto. It suits them perfectly. Hypocrites all.

Surely what would be being condemned is the system that allows some citizens to get a (hopefully/presumably) improved education that many citizens can't afford; rather than expecting folk to refrain from using the option when it's there.
