I had to queue as well - never seen that before.
I'd love to poll in your station Naomi24. I'm not surprised people were queuing.
postal voted, glad i did as it's chucking it down out there.
Not one person in there at 9.30
There was a long queue here around 10:30.
Just little ole' me at 11.30 !
Quiet outside Blackpool. The polling staff said it had been busy. I forgot my reading glasses but managed to find Ben Wallace, Cons.

Job done, c'mon Boris.
A steady stream at my polling station but no queues.
A couple of others there when I voted and the lady checking identities said it had been quite busy.
We're out in the sticks where its always quiet, but we did meet a lady coming out of the Polling Station as we went in, and as we left a car pulled up. Thats postitvely congested for us!
I voted at 1340 and walked straight in but was told it was a busy turn out earlier. Mild weather and only light drizzle and a determined resolve helped either way.

I'm in the sticks too, Maydup. Our polling station is a little village hall a few miles away. I was astonished at how busy it was. Perhaps the whole village turned out at once - but I doubt it.
I voted at lunchtime, there was no one else there. Three people came
in together just as I was leaving.
I haven't seen a queue at a polling station for many years. Ours (near Leeds, W. Yorks.) was a portacabin in the grounds of the local primary school. Nobody waiting when Mrs. bb and I went in. The door was standing open, with the freezing wind blowing in, but the two lady clerks were well wrapped up, with a portable heater keeping their spirits up. That's what I call dedication to duty.
Deserted when I was in about an hour ago. Wifey said it had been very quiet all day.
It looked pretty busy when I drove past this morning but I`m not normally here on voting days so I don`t know what it would normally be like. It was busy enough for cars to be clogging up the road though.

Well, a variety of reports here. Nothing solid to judge by. Maybe we're not looking at a high turnout then. Perhaps everyone's so sick of it all they can't be bothered.
Rained all day here (W Mids) may have affected the turnout but probably not the result.
You didn't think a thread on here would generate something solid to judge by, did you?
Question Author
Not at all, Zacs. I just wondered if we might get a reasonable indication of turnout.
