it would absolutely delight me for jeremy hunt to lose his seat. if the tories can't keep godalming then they really are screwed--nowhere is safe. that would be absolutely lovely.

actually i think on reflection my preferred one would be johnny mercer. he was recently caught out for wrongly accusing his opponent of lying regarding his military service. mercer has long been able to keep his head above water and present as a "decent" tory but he proved beyond doubt that there is no such thing. i also think that his opponent, fred thomas, is an excellent candidate who will do much good in parliament.

Untitled 14.00. I note that Mercer is Banging his drum saying what a hero he is and anyone else who was on active service  is making it up ..especially Labour candidates . When his own Tory leader Sunak ran away from the D/Day landings and that was only a Celebration 80 Years Later.

In a desperate attempt to save three seats held by cabinet ministers with majorities of 20,000  Dowden ,Cleverly and Barclay . The desperate Tories who are in a state of election retreat are regrouping resources to concentrate on these three seats.They are so desperate to save these seats they are having to bus Tory door knocking canvasers in from other constituencies.

Cleverly has angered grassroot Conservatives by telling them he is too busy elsewhere to come out and canvas.That's not very clever of Cleverly. Is it!.
