Leadership qualities
We've had a bit of a debate tonight, instigated by a speech by Ray Mallon Mayor of Middlesbrough speaking at the unveiling of Brian Cloughs memorial statue, which started something like, President Bush, Tony Blair, and me, will not be remembered in 50 years time, but Brian Clough will be, not the exact words, but the gist led us to laugh at this mans perceived automatic affinity with world leaders, which led us to talk about leaders, generally. So, the question is, regardless of your political stance or any wrong doings, which leader has proven leadership qualities and why? I won't mention the one's we've argued about.

All have backtracked on their manifestos at some time or other, and as far as I am concerned, all of them entered political life, to feather their own nests, regardless of the consequences to you and I. Brian Clough, was passionate about his job, and everything he did, he did it for his team and their fans.Whether he will still be remembered in 50 years is a matter of conjecture. The bad guys always seem to be remembered, ie. Hitler-Mussolini etc. unfortunately, the good guys just fade away. Jonukas
