with opinion polls indicating a close election, is it likely that turnout will be very high? also, just how many seats are not declaring the results until friday?

I'm expecting this election to have one of the lowest turnouts ever. I've never known so many people who are totally disillusioned with politicians because of things like the expenses scandal, and who genuinely believe that it makes not one iota of difference who gets in. So they're not going to vote.

i agree with Mark - no one is going to bother to vote because whoever gets in will be there to look after themselves and line their own pockets - the electorate will once again be forgotten for four and a half years

I think the turnoyt, including postal votes, will be quite high, mainly because of the emergence of Clegg.

Its made a lot of people who weren't interested previously, to take an interest.

Just hope most of them see through him.

i've never voted before because i simply wasnt interested but this time i am going to vote, not sure why, maybe i'm getting old!
