We're all in it together. Will this phrase come back to haunt Cameron? Millionaires avoiding taxes and stuffing the proceeds into off shore bank accounts everywhere. When will these parasites be brought to book?

what is the purpose of smashing up buildings in london?
Question Author
...to show we won't take it any more!
What is also the purpose in demonstrating when both Labour and the Tories agreed pre election, that cuts were necessary?
Xylene....who is "we?"
Question Author
...the people...
I've just been watching the news, there were completely separate matters - the Unison march against the cuts, and a load of nutters with nothing else in mind than anarchy. Smashing bank doorways and injuring policemen is nothing to do with the protest in hand.

Earlier on the police were talking about the possibility of coming out in riot gear - why didn't they, then? People with flares, and light bulbs filled with ammonia - etc. - nothing like "coming prepared" then.
all I can see on tv are animals who just want an away day smashing the place up
You mean the people who were demonstrating or the people that weren't demonstrating or the people that kicked Labour out at the last election.
How would you bring down this massive deficit?
No money in the bank and your credit cards are too the maximum.
What would you do Xylene?
Question Author
...blame the protestors as usual...not Cameron!
xylene , what difference do you think these protests are going to make? No politicians of either party take any notice, they never have and they never will
Well Xylene you are well off the mark "We the People"

Its the fecking socialists that got us in this massive amount of economic poo.

I dont think that "the people" are going to put with up with rampant anarchistic and socialist worker blatant vandalism and hooliganism. Indeed, these tw4ts should be locked up and the key thrown away.

Protest is ok, the people will, however, not condone this behaviour.

I work in the public sector and the cuts are already taking place, people's jobs already gone, huge swathes of spending all ready to take effect on 1 April - it's far too late to protest now, it'll going to happen. And, IMO - "we" couldn't go on the way we were, the country hasn't got the money - spending has to be reduced to make the organisations less unwieldy and expensive.
its not camerons fault the country is bankrupt, the spending spree is over now, time to pay it back
If we weren't as soft as other countries then such protests wouldn't amount to anything

Why can't we use tear gas/water cannon etc?

So what if rent-a-mob gets injured?
why dont they go and smash up tony blairs selection of properties?
It's not a Conservative Government.
These "protesters" ,in the main, have never done a days work in their lives, let alone paid taxes.
I'd shoot the lot of them.
Hear hear, jl - it's hardly unexpected.
