Now, I know those from the 'conservative end' of the political spectrum see gay equality as something to fight against (family values, traditional morals etc), but surely, equating a loving consensual relationship between two adults is a world away from...well, having it off with with a border collie!

Is this a common perception?

Men and women are attracted to eachother with the ultimate goal being procreation to ensure the human species survives. That is what nature intended. If some are only attracted to others of the same sex, then surely there must be a fault in their genetic makeup and if that is the case then it cannot be classed as normal and be on an equal footing with hetrosexual behaviour.

I do think there is no correlation between the two groups in the OP - generally, gay people having sex will surely be consensual - I don't think the animals have much choice in the matter if a human wants to have sex with them.

I am often criticised for posting on the same subject, which in itself is a complete lie.

But sp1814 constantly posts questions regarding homosexuality, without a murmur from anyone.

One obviously cannot help being born gay, but why do they constantly try and convert everyone to their way of thinking, some people, (myself included) have nothing against gays as individuals, but it is the actual sex act between them that which they find aberrant.

But as usual in these debates persons are not allowed to voice their own opinions on homosexuality, immigration, etc, or on any other subject that the 'Left' doesn't agree with without members of the Left coming out with phrases such as 'right-wing morons who belong to the Bigots Association'?

There is just no need for it, but it seems they must always use such expletives, against anyone who dares to disagree with them, to me it just highlights the fact that they know of no other way of showing their disagreement.

No wonder they are known as the 'Nasty Left'
