The Daily Mail - there's something very, very, very wrong here.
Surprise, surprise - another 'anti Daily Mail wail' from me.
...but honestly, isn't this a little bit digraceful?
The Daily Mail (I won't print the link) has published on the front page of it's website, a picture of a man who has recently been gored to death by an elephant in New Delhi.
It's the first thing you see when you go to their home page - great big banner pictures.
Am I being over-senstive, or is this really wrong?

Nothing special about the mau mau, they just wanted home rule and like many before and since when they get it they find out they are much worse off. Oh except for the few that is that have 49 rolls royces while their people starve to death! Surprised you favour that Gromit, still anything to be anti British eh?
<<Ask the relatives of the settlers that were raped or murdered in their beds, by hordes of machete armed savages>>
Alternatively, ask the opponents of British rule who were tortured, raped and castrated whilst in custody.
I think it's inevitable that if one country takes over another by force, regardless of the practical advantages or disadvantages of that administration, sections of the indigenous population will rise up and resist the occupation by force.
Partisans did it to the Germans in the 1940s and I'm sure many fine British people would also have become <<murdering terrorists>> if Germany had succeeded in invading this country.
