Isn't it time that the police stopped trying to appease some Muslims in Tower Hamlets, and got this borough sorted out?
We hear very little of what is going off in some of these London ghettos, stories such as this,
/// One teacher at the Bigland Green primary school, Nicholas Kafouris, last year took the council to an employment tribunal, saying he was forced out of his job for complaining that Muslim pupils were engaging in racist and anti-Semitic bullying and saying they supported terrorism, he lost his case,.///
/// Last year, a mob of 30 young Muslims stormed a local gay pub, the George and Dragon, beating and abusing patrons. ///
/// Homophobic crimes in the borough have risen by 80 per cent since 2007/8, and by 21 per cent over the last year, a period when there was a slight drop in London as a whole. ///
/// Peter Tatchell, the gay human rights campaigner, said: “The police said no-one was allowed to talk publicly about this because they didn’t want to upset the Muslim community. ///

My point, is only that if you live in the capital as we do, how diverse it is, but in many cases, how separate the communities are.
This is an old report on the subject of Sharia Law, but it still makes for interesting reading.

"I see Orthodox Jewish communities in London, who marry within their own faith, community, and do not appear to mix with other communities"
but the few thousand that are here dont march against our country and its soldiers dont have any intentions of trying to turn this country into a jewish state whereas the more than a million muslims do

bazwillrun i agree, though i also think that the Orthodox Jews will or perhaps do have problems with their children as they intermarry, in the case of first cousins, something i believe is illegal in Britain, apologies if that is not the case. But I can't help feel that the problems within the Muslim communities are not being addressed, and the wearing of the burkha, veil, is a step in the wrong direction. I heard the term Londistan a while back, and it wasn't in a tabloid, and as a Londoner that didn't fill me with joy. There is a clash of cultures here in London, and many other areas, which has given rise to the likes of the BNP and EDL, neither group i would ever support, but i can see why it is happening, but our politicians don't.
