what makes you think any of these people come from sink estates, perhaps you haven't seen the hoorays at these events lamping one another, i have and its not a pretty sight. The stewards, Jockey Club, governing body should ban anyone who does this, from every racktrack in the country, not just the blokes, but the stupid women who get in this state. I have been to many race meetings over years, and have enjoyed myself with family and friends, but there is an element that doesn't go for the racing but to get p***ed and cause trouble.
she is commenting on... not sure understand these comments, Ascot is just a race meeting after all, and some people do behave badly, from all sides of the divide, they do spend a lot, just go in any bar, that is if you can get in, if you behaved in this way in your local, they would throw you out. I haven't been for a bit, but would go again, just stay out of these idiots way.

In answer to JTH's continuous criticism of the Daily Mail, it is the paper that is always ready to report events both trivial (as in this case) but on more sensitive issues that some others shy from reporting on.
As for this fracas, this is what becomes of allowing the lower classes (in their hired Moss Bros. morning suits), into what should be an event reserved only for the better classes.
