Ah, now there's a lesson in equality for you.

i wonder if that policeman would have helped a chap out in such a way?

in what way is it a reflection on women's liberation?

It's only <<a reflection on women's liberation>>

in your mind Old Git

Others are entitled to (and naturally will) have a different perception of the picture.

It's called individuality.

Something us Brits are rather keen on.
It seems AOG would prefer it if we could all stick to taking swipes at Women's Lib.....
I think we can do this in two ways;
1. We can say that as the woman in the photo is obviously erm......a woman, she should, in the interests of equality, have declined the offer of assistance with a firm "No! I can do it myself, thankyouverymuch!" thereby demonstrating the aggressive chippiness of the modern emancipated female;
2. We can say that as she so obviously needs the assistance of a big, strong man, *all* the aims of the WL movement over the past 40 years have been shown up to be a smoke-screen thrown up by hairy-legged harridans...........
If that was me dragging a bag like that through the mud, I'd be grateful of any help - male or female.

What happened prior to the picture being taken?
Was she coping well with the situation?
Was she struggling and falling about?
Did she directly ask him for help?

None of us know, so its unfair to suggest he's only helping because she's female.
judging by the photo too, seeing as that's what we're doing, she's only got one leg! How does that mix things up!?!
I think it's a picture from Hendon Police College.

She is a Trainer instructing the officer in ways to convey collapsed newspaper vendors to the nearest ambulance.

How do you know she didn't ask for help?
How do you know hes not arresting her?
How do you know its not her dad?

The question is presumptive in the first case and poorly thought out in the second.

Yet again AOG big stick for stirring, little brain for thinking
Dave - You mean AOG is Winnie-the-pooh? :o(

I think it was nice of that woman to help the policeman with the suitcase he was obviously struggling with.
Chuck, only you could spot the reality of the picture.
He's a little over dressed for the occasion tho, don't you think? :p

May I say, you have to be seriously warped to make a remark about her only having one leg.

Not funny at all, just sick, sick.sick.

Careful, AOG!!

You might well have someone's eye out if you insist on hurling all the toys out of your pram.......
I don't think it's sick to have one leg at all!! That's a shocking thing to say AOG!!
