Club Turquoise, Marmaris, Turkey?
Hi, just booked a family holiday here in August and would just welcome any feedback on the Apartments or tips/advice for Marmaris itself. Since booking, it looks quite a lively place. Is this so? Many Thanks for any info.

These resorts all have mini s'mkts nearby for DIY catering in own kitchenette. They all have communal bars & diners with evening family entertainment. Quite safe with own security. Internet access with payg-puters. Boat rides & touring can be bought in nearby town. Ciggies are cheapest :)

Not sure if it has changed since we were last here 15+ years ago....We were ripped off by someone in a bar who ‘got talking’ to us for a few hours/drinks before revealing she was a bar employee obviously told to keep us there!
We also had a scary boat trip which breached a lot of H&S rules- didn’t say we had to change vessels in a choppy ocean involving a ‘jump’ down to the other, in between swells!.
We couldn’t stroll along the front behind the beach without having our elbows grabbed and faces thrust with unwanted menus.
Last, but not least our 14yr old received a lot of unwanted male attention (restaurant staff) which was very unnerving. Another UK family actually told us their daughter who was naturally blond had someone approach and cut a clump of her hair with scissors before making off!
So, needless to say, we are not great fans of Turkey! However to give some positive views on Marmaris- it’s on a lovely bay with stunning scenery. But,I’m afraid that’s where it ends ....Sorry, but I’m sure you can look out for the potential pitfalls. Anyway don’t take my word for it- we experienced that a long time ago, so perhaps it’s changed by now.
