Although not very popular on AnswerBank, it seems that most of Europe make it their number one website.
So are the users of AB not a true representation of most in Europe?

Here's the top 100 in the UK. DM sits comfortably at no.16 overall - so yes, they're the top newspaper website.
I would suggest the only two higher news sites (as opposed to newspaper sites) are MSN, Yahoo & the BBC.
Here are the analytics for the DMOnline site: http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/dailymail.co.uk# interestingly the top non-brand keywords are "Pippa Middleton" and "Ryan Giggs".
Also, anyone who has wondered about the number of Americans on the DM comments section should have a peak at the "audience" tab - your assumptions confirmed!

Sorry, this is the UK one: http://www.alexa.com/topsites/countries;0/GB
We're on there somewhere.... at the bottom. We get 50-odd-thousand hits a day, enough to keep the lights on, but these sites get millions a day.

Well 10% isn't 'most' is it?
<<MailOnline recorded 17.2million unique visitors to the site in June, reaching over 10 per cent of Europe’s newspaper audience.
Why can't some people interpret statistics? Or is it just a case of reporting something dishonestly in order to fulfil a pre-arranged agenda?
Quite appropriate I suppose for a question about The Daily Mail.
