I'm surprised that Mr Frost had to look it up. I would've thought that most people know this phrase? The report doesn't state what term he used for the white rioters in Manchester.

/// if any of the rioters are found to be jewish it would be ok to refer to them as 'sub-human y1ds fit only for the gas chamber'. ///

That is a different matter altogether, as well you know it.

Of course an innocent Jewish person would find this offensive.

Just as an innocent Black person would find it offensive if the words "Sub-human N1gs fit only for the slave boats", were used.

/// What an odd thing to say. What about those that are law abiding and are trying to forget a horrid past, what crime have they committed for us to hurt them with these words? ///

None, that is why they should not be offended by any words one cares to call those that have.
Why should they be offended? Because like I said it's an offensive term. How would you feel if you emigrated and everyone used the term "White devil" or something similar to put you and other whites down? Would you be okay with the term being used on just white criminals even though it's offensive to all whites?
how about if I refer to them as horrible southern scummers?

I'm imagining him jigging around his living room for finding an excuse to use that word!
triggerhippy anotheoldgit seems to be looking at it from "outside the fishbowl" it seems. Instead of him looking at it from his point of view he has to put himself in the fishbowl and think to himself how would he like it if it was him and his family?

/// If a gang of white hooligans were called 'White Scum' by someone in authority then I bet you would be complaining AOG. And not all the rioters were black ///

Read my post,

(((("For example one should feel free to call a white piece of scum who took part in these riots, any name whatsoever, be it racist or otherwise".))))

That takes care of your false accusation that "I would be complaining", therefore it seems you have lost your bet.

(((("don't deserve any consideration or any particular exception from name calling, be them white, black or brown".))))

And where pray did I say all the rioters were black? Yet another false accusation, it seems.

how about "daily mail readers are right wing fascist apologists"?

is that offensive to all dm readers, or just the right wing fascist apologists ?

The poor old godger Mr Frost is clearly lost in a mind warp and things he is in an episode of life on mars - Fire up the Quatro and take off the hand brak and let it roll gently over him.. It is racist and crass.
As an 'older member of AB' I haven't heard of the term either
Wrongn3mber

I thought I had explained this thoroughly, but obviously not in your case, so lets have another go.

/// How would you feel if you emigrated and everyone used the term "White devil" or something similar to put you and other whites down? Would you be okay with the term being used on just white criminals even though it's offensive to all whites? ///

If for example someone were to use the word "White Devil" or any other offensive words to say a white person, who had been convicted of a rape or murder for example, then I would not feel in the least offended, because I would be smart enough to realise that those words were not directed at me personally, and that the criminal deserved everything he had meted out to him.
Oh, dear. I must have been away too long.
When I first heard that expression, it conjured up the vision of mucky bikini-clad wannabe 'celebs' from " I'm a Celebrity.....!'
I must get out more often
anotheroldgit for get about it you are wrong and just keep repeating the same old same old doesnt make it right. He was rude,he meant to be rude and its racist end of.
Lol tara !

No we're coming to it anotheoldgit "If for example someone were to use the word "White Devil" or any other offensive words to say a white person, who had been convicted of a rape or murder for example, then I would not feel in the least offended, because I would be smart enough to realise that those words were not directed at me personally, and that the criminal deserved everything he had meted out to him"

So you think everyone should think the way you do or you probably may even think everyone's more sensitive than you? Do you think the whole world should think the way you do or that the world is a tad sensitive and should really 'man up'?
Ankou

Your analogy just does not work on two counts.

Simply because of the fact that much as some would wish it to be, reading the Daily Mail is not a crime.

Neither are they right wing fascist apologists.

But one would expect such un-truths from Left-Wing Fascists.
