Red Arrows - oh dear
Looks like a Red Arrow has crashed at the Bournmouth airshow. Let`s hope he/she is OK. The coastguard has been involved. Maybe it went into the sea.

It could have been a shortage of fuel, no fire when crashing. A few years ago, at Eastbourne Airbourne, a microlight strayed into the airspace while the Red Arrows were displaying. They immediately assembled well away from the area but were unable to complete their display because they would not have had enough fuel.
Yep, could have been low on fuel. I`ve seen videos of crashes where there has indeed been a fire started in an engine on crashing but as the plane skids along, so much crap has gone into the engines that the fire is almost immediately extinguished again. What amazes me most, after looking at Jake`s link, is that someone has already put it on Wikipedia!
