Rebecca Leighton, Stockport Nurse released.

Just on the Beeb news, police have released this young lady, the one accused for injecting insulin into saline bags and taking out three people.
Ok, not enough evidence and the case remains open, but they go onto say that the medical contamination could have affected many more people and there may have been seven or more deaths.
However, they are not launching a murder enquiry......
Incredulous! How can this be????

not she didn't do it, but we don't have enough evidence to prove she did. (Amounts to the same thing in the end, but obviously they had enough suspicion to arrest her in the first place.)
But police are still investigating.

A policeman friend of mind is working on this case. I was talking to him on Monday and he hinted that it was another Shipman (he was on that case also) and there are more unexplained deaths. They believe they have the right person, but he said the killer had been really clever and it was almost the perfect crime. Hopefully, I will ge able to quiz him sometime over the weekend.
Unfortunately shes innocent until proven guilty. She hasn't been proven guilty and the police seem to lack enough if any evidence to prosecute her.Should we expect a claim for compensation by her? After 6 weeks in jail and no evidence i would assume she will seek compensation of some sort.No matter what the police suspect she is innocent and appears that she isnt being investigated any longer.
So the CPS think there is not enough proof that it was her ?
Well ... WE know better, don't we.
We've read the tabloids, and the investigations by inebriated tabloid hacks are WAY more reliable than the investigations carried out by the Police, and the Crown Prosecution Service.
If the raggy tabloids think she's the culprit ... then she MUST be !!
Burn her !!!
