Something else - remember the whole story about blacks nit moving out of urban areas (Midsomer Murders) - perhaps this is the reason why? Are there more elderly people willing to racially abuse their black neighbours outside the big cities, than inside?

The fact that the Daily Mail had used the perforative term 'grandmother' to evoke sympathy should not cloud your judgement of the story. There are OAPs who are rotten to the core. Just because they're drawing a pension, doesn't automatically confer sainthood.
