a) Hurl abuse back?
b) Ignore him?
c) Write about it on Twitter?

Personally, I think he deserved an open-handed slap in the mouth, but that would've just escalated the situation. Good on Kelis for keeping her cool - what would YOU have done?

She may well be doc, in which case anyone shyould feel free to tell her in no uncertian terms, but racial abuse is just ignorant and unpleasant, not to mention makes the abuser look like a complete a75ehole.
I don't believe she was racially abused..............I think she's a liar.

Naah...I think you're wrong. The insults are too specific and had she been making the story up, why post on Twitter?

Think you might be being a little naive.
well she does sound like an attention seeking psuedo celebrity and from further research I would not put it past her to make this up or at least embellish it. Pretty well all of us agree that racist comments are out of order but I do wonder what really happenned, is there any corroboration? Personally I get the impression that she thinks she is "special" and hence does not have to indulge in normal codes of conduct, she even admits that queue jumping is not beyond her, and if there is one thing that makes us foam at the mouth it's queue jumping.
