Murdered gay barman.

How can the police be so certain, couldn't he have been killed by someone connected to the 12 year old boy?

They are being cautious. Is there any evidence of a link between the accusation and murder? They are keeping an open mind.

It was a grisly and horrific murder - I hope that they find the person(s) who did it.

And the problem would be paedophilia if his death had been someones reaction to an earlier action not that he was gay (paedophilia is an offence being gay is not..).. so he was a murdered barman his sexuality is irrelevant and as the other is only an allegation it is probably wrong to repeat an as yet unproven accusation. I suspect the police have either eliminated the boys family or have another motive for the murder...

why do you have to say murdered gay barmanm you woulddn;t say murdered hetrosexual barman, so why bring his sexuality into it? it makes no sense unless he was actually murdered because he was gay and its a hate crime but their is no evidence to support this so far (that i've read)

By you i mean in general people, media etc. it baffles me how if you are homeosexual you then become defined by your sexuality, there are differnt aspects to people personalities

I was only repeating their headline, and every other report used more or less the same headline, even 'The Pink News'.

Gay barman and assault on boy sounds more feasible than hetrosexual barman on assault on boy. The first one puts weight behind the accusation, whilst the latter doesn't make sense.
