Nobody could condone these scenes, male OR female.
But very few ABers, me included have neve been in a riot situation either on the side of the law or on the side of the protestors.
Can you imagine what would happen to a policeman who had become isolated and surrounded by the baying mobs, je wouldnhave been kicked to death.
Many ABERs will be too young to remember when in the 70's in Northern Ireland a car with two off duty British soldiers took a wrong turn and passed throughnan IRA funeral. They were dragged out of the car and both were beaten to death by the enraged funeral mob.
No, press pictures do not necessarily give the whole story or indeed capture the atmosphere between two antagonist mobs.
The Middle East is not the only place to use such tactics and no I do not condone it, but try to understand it.
