It's not sexist. If all other colours of Lego were no longer made and they had a marketing campaign aimed solely at girls then that might be sexist but this isn't.

Besides, when I've watched my nephews/nieces playing with lego they don't seem too bothered about which colour they are using.

Pink appeals. I've just bought a pink laptop. My OH wouldn't have picked it because it's pink. So I guess it's aimed to appeal to girls.

Don't think kids who are really into lego worry much about colours unless they are building something specific from a kit. My grandkids all love their lego regardless of gender as a fairly recent visit to Legoland proved (boy is it expensive!)

Nah, it's not rubbish! I didn't once get bored of making car garages with the kids over Xmas. :)

I think Lego is making a comeback. It was at the top of the xmas list for all the kids in the family from age 3 to 12. I like that. Just a simple toy that encourages them to be creative without staring at a glaring screen for hours.

I like lego, we literally had dustbins full of it and it kept several seccessive kids happy ad infinitum.

ummm it's not rubbish!! My 7 year old nephew loves it and I'm the uncle he comes to for help and I have to admit I do get carried away! It's great! It's good for him too because he's quiet and a day dreamer so he was being kept an eye on in school for not progressing as quickly as others, but with the lego he's ace, doing the age 14 stuff too which has shown that he does have a brain if it's encouraged enough.

my girls have had pink mega blocks for ages. they also have the pastek coloured types and play with both in equal measure.
