New Racism Probe at Anfield
Klanfield in the news again
// Police stressed it was an isolated incident //
They are having a few of these isolated incidents at Klanfield
// It is the third incident of this kind in a few months at Anfield //
Do you think if they closed the ground to the paying public it would
put a stop to these kind of isolated racist incidents.

I've lost any respect I had for that club after yesterday's booing towards Evra, not just by a few fans but the majority.
And to cap it off, Kenny Dalgliesh when asked what he felt about the booing..." Are you winding me up?...I was booed when I played"
Don' t get me wrong, it's not the booing that bothers me it's the fact they were booing a player who was...
And to cap it off, Kenny Dalgliesh when asked what he felt about the booing..."

Well done the Police.
// A police spokeswoman said: 'Merseyside Police can confirm that
a 59-year-old man from North Wales has been arrested this evening
following an alleged incident at the LFC vs MUFC match this afternoon. //
// Merseyside Police would like to thank North Wales Police and
Liverpool Football Club for their assistance with this matter.'//

Don't get me wrong, it's not the booing that bothers me it's the fact they were booing a player who was racially abused by their own player so they are basically showing their support for a racist.
I hope the FA do something about it but I doubt it after they banned the usual handshakes before the QPR v Chelsea game all because of another racist idiot that is John Terry.
"Kick racism out of football"?..... Or just sweep it under the carpet!

"Is it racist to boo a black player if his performance is bad?"
No, but even if his performance WAS bad, Liverpool supporters wouldn't be booing him, because he doesn't play for Liverpool.
Booing black players, white players, Muslim, Greek or Hawaiian players is not racism. However to constantly boo someone who is the alleged victim of racist abuse is less than impressive.
A bit like slapping someone because they've been burgled.

Football grounds should be safe places for everyone to visit, no matter what their race. The police are simply ensuring that we don't slip back to the sorry state football was in, in the 70s.
You have to ask yourself - why football? Why don't we see similar behaviour in tennis, cricket, rugby, athletics?
I've always found that strange.

No answer from magma - yet. Or from Elvis.
My point being that I bet a quick trawl of their club of favour will show up "bad apples" in their fan base...
The police and Liverpool FC did the right thing to jump on this. Who knows at the moment, it could even be a Man U supporter against Suarez.....If so, I hope that they will do what Liverpool have indicated and that is a life-ban if found guilty.
That, after all, is the best punishment. Bit like being banned from here!
