A letter was pushed through every letterbox on the street this afternoon stating that the governers had decided to move the whole fence back 2m to allow each house access to their fences.

This should have been done at the outset but at least common sense has prevailed.

I think I explained to you before that the school was under no legal obligation to do this. But sometimes the outcry and hence negative publicity outweigh the legal niceties.
